The use of calcium hydroxide and sodium metaaluminate to treat desulfurization tower wastewater containing chlorine, fluorine, high ammonia nitrogen and chemical oxygen demand (COD) harmful substances can reduce the chloride ions and fluoride ions in desulfurization tower wastewater. Through research, it was found that, under the 40℃ stirring conditions, when the molar ratio of chloride ions to sodium metaaluminate and calcium hydroxide reaches 1:2.5:5, the chloride ions in desulfurization wastewater can be reduced by more than 60% at once. Meanwhile, the fluoride ions and calcium hydroxide form calcium fluoride for removal. By use of low-temperature vacuum evaporation technology, the low-temperature and low-pressure evaporation is carried out on the treated desulfurization wastewater at room temperature of 30~35℃. The regenerated water can achieve over 90% recovery. The recovered regenerated water chloride ions, ammonia nitrogen and COD are reduced within 300mg/L, meeting the requirements for wet production water.
